“If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you.”

— Winnie the Pooh

Friendship Day, a day celebrated to honour our friends, showcase our love for them, and most of all, make them feel special. A day that has many memories tied to it and many yet to be lived.

A lot of people come into our lives and stay or leave for better or for worse. Some stay but do not make a difference, others leave for good and then there are those who mean the world to us and are present through every thick and thin of our lives. These precious people are called friends.

While they can be mischievous, can make us feel bad at times and may even get on our nerves, they'll always stand by us when we're at our lowest and need all the love and support. Needless to say, they're someone with whom we would always celebrate our achievements and successes with. That said, a good friend will also help you through your failures and try their best to lift you up.
